"My Story:
Weight loss is not something that has ever been easy for me. I have always been active, but as I got older and gained more responsibility (getting married, having kids, working all day at a desk, managing a household etc) there seemed to be less and less time for me. Everything in life seemed to be on fast forward, and of course being a mom, I was the last person to meet my own needs. I knew I was gaining weight. I could see it in the mirror and on the scale, but I felt almost detached from myself. I didn’t realize how far out of shape I had let myself get. I always thought I could cover it up with a bigger shirt or something else to distract the eye. Then, I would see myself in a picture. . . I don’t know if anyone else has gone through that awful feeling of; “Is that me???! How did I get so out of control?” I mean I knew I was overweight and had problem areas, but I was really trying to lose it. I tried to exercise, and I would lose some weight, but most of it would always stay around my midsection. It was so discouraging. It felt like a hopeless battle that I would never win no matter how much I tried.

Then a close friend of mine told me that she was going to have Vaser Lipo-Selection done on a few areas of her body. I started to do some research on it to find out what it was, how much it would cost, what are the long term benefits etc. As I learned more about Vaser, I found that it might be something worth exploring more closely. I talked it over with my husband and convinced him to come to a consult with me at Dr. Earl’s office.

I was really impressed with Dr. Earl’s expertise, experience and knowledge regarding Vaser and weight loss. We discussed areas that I wanted to target and my weight loss goals. I felt at ease through the whole consult and I left the consult feeling excited about Vaser.

After the consult, it really began to dawn on me why I really wanted to move forward with this procedure. It was a perfect fit for my lifestyle. I couldn’t afford to be down and out from a surgery for very long. I had a very troublesome middle area that just loved to hang on to everything I ate. But most of all I wanted to do it for me. I wanted to stop feeling like I wanted to fade into the background so no one would really notice me. I was tired of being overweight, and I knew if I didn’t make a serious commitment and investment in myself now, then as I got older it was going to get harder and harder.
